The Central Islip Soccer Organization is dedicated to serving the children in the community. Our mission is to promote interest in the sport of soccer and to provide a positive experience for boys and girls of the community through athletic recreation in a structured soccer program. To accomplish its mission, the organization provides soccer instruction for players ages 5-23, and organizes teams and leagues for the participation of players of all ages, genders, and levels of ability. The organization has two sections, that roles are defined as follow:


1) The Central Islip Soccer Club has intramural program that starts at 5 years old and an Inter-League that starts at 8 through 17 years old.

5 yr old - game situations (refereed games) - size 3 ball
7 - 12 yr old - game situations (refereed games) - size 4 ball
13 - 18 yr old - game situations (refereed games) - size 5 ball

The Inter-league program is designed as scheduled scrimmages against other local Clubs that are registered with Suffolk Soccer Inter-league. The program provides a competitive, pure age division, for that team to play in.

The Club's emphasis is on teaching boys and girls the meaning of good sportsmanship and how to play soccer as individuals and as members of a team. Soccer demands both dedication and commitment from the player to perform at their best levels. It also demands dedication and commitment from parents to give their children proper training and positive support.


2) The Central Islip Soccer League is designed for more advanced players who would want to continue playing for fun at a more competitive level. This program consist of players aging from 18 through 23

Upcoming Referee Class
Fall 2010

September 15,16 and 17 from 5:30pm - 8:00pm. Three 2 1/2 hour classes, plus 3 field evaluation test.

Fee is $ 20.00

Must attend all classes along with field evaluation test to be certified.
Classes to be held at the Cordello Elementary School facility.

If interested fill out the Referee Application and send it to the Director of Referee
via e-mail @ referee@centralislipsoccer.org

All participants must be at least 12 years old by August 1 2010
